About the Delta Gamma Chapter of Theta Phi Alpha
The Delta Gamma Chapter of Theta Phi Alpha was founded at Lynn University on November 16, 2013 making it the youngest & newest sorority on campus. The Delta Gamma Chapter began when a group of girls who had gone through recruitment felt that they needed a home of their own. After going through recruitment and still feeling like their home was not found, a group of ladies got together with the idea of forming another sorority on campus!
Theta Phi Alpha was chosen because the ladies all believed in the ideals of the organization and the welcoming family atmosphere that the extension committee showed towards them. After a year of extremely hard work and dedication, the colony at Lynn was approved for installation by the Grand Council. The ladies of the Delta Gamma Chapter pride themselves on academics, sisterhood, philanthropy & leadership. The Delta Gamma Chapter has already accomplished so much and hopes to help their little sister chapter at NOVA Southeastern become successful as well.
